ProfileCheck is designed to minimize data collection. When you use our service, we process the following information:
Images you submit: Uploaded images are stored temporarily on our servers solely for the purpose of performing the reverse image search. They are automatically deleted within 120 seconds after processing. We do not keep copies, create backups, or share your images with any third party beyond the search API provider.
Image URLs you provide: If you paste a URL instead of uploading, we pass that URL to our search provider. We do not download or store the image ourselves.
Technical data: We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. These logs are retained for 30 days and are not linked to your search activity.
Session data: We use server-side sessions to enforce rate limits. Session data contains only a counter and a date; it does not include your images or search results.
Your uploaded images are used exclusively to perform the reverse image search you requested. We do not use your images for training, analytics, advertising, or any other purpose.
To perform the reverse image search, we use BrightData's SERP API, which queries Google's reverse image search on your behalf. Your image URL is transmitted to this service. BrightData's privacy policy is available at brightdata.com/privacy.
We use a session cookie (PHPSESSID) that is essential for the tool to function (rate limiting). This cookie expires when you close your browser. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Uploaded images: deleted within 120 seconds. Server logs: 30 days. Session data: until browser close. We do not retain search results.
Since we don't store personal data beyond technical logs, there is typically nothing to delete or export. If you have questions about your data, contact us at contact@fakeprofilechecker.com.
